Southwire's Romex Brand SIMpull Solid Indoor 12/2 W/G NMB Cable, available in a 100-foot coil (SW# 28828228), is designed for general wiring of homes, stores, and shops. This nonmetallic-sheathed (NM-B) cable can be used for both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations, with a temperature rating not exceeding 90°C (with ampacity limited to that for 60°C conductors), as specified in the 2011 National Electrical Code. NM-B cable is primarily used in residential wiring as branch circuits for outlets, switches, and other loads, and it can be run in the air voids of masonry block or tile walls where such walls are not wet or damp locations. The voltage rating for NM-B cable is 600 volts.

The Newhouse Hardware New Work Electrical Nail Outlet Box, certified by UL, is designed for residential and light commercial remodel applications. This 1-gang, 18 cu. in. PVC outlet box is suitable for use with non-metallic sheathed cable, in accordance with Article 314 of the NEC. The box is manufactured with non-conductive PVC for durability and is fire-rated (2 hours) to help ensure safety. It includes nail-ins, making it ideal for new construction.
